Alexander wakes up in the middle of the night and learns about his mother  Lily’s death, where he leaves for home to his college in new york city, only to see Lilly has already been buried by his uncle. 3 years later, Alexander  is now a detective under the name of agent alexander, where he sets up an agency named OBI  His assistant Clara  who, earlier was his junior in college helps him in cases. Alex is mostly involved in solving petty cases. One day, his writer friend James informs him of an unidentified body in Roseland. When Alex goes there, an arrogant officer Harold arrests him on suspicion of murder.

In prison that night, Alex meets a man who acknowledges himself as Marco and tells him the story of his daughter Annie, who went missing after going to virginia. He gives him 3 phone numbers of three people who were the last who had contacted Annie before she was supposedly murdered. Anthony, George, and Olivia. Alex and Clara, upon investigation based on the phone numbers, confirm that Anthony and George were in Virginia the day Annie was murdered, while Olivia cannot be traced. They follow them both all day, who go to a car rental agency, mortuary, and railroad. At the end of the day, Alex recognizes Annie somewhere along a highway, who doesn’t speak ignoring him. Upon checking at the police station at Nellore, they find that no Marco was transferred from the rural station in the last three days.

Upon checking at the rural station, they find that the person who had called himself Marco is actually Willian . Further inquiry with the station in roseland reveals that on the day the body found was male not female. Later, at a motel , Alex  discovers Anthonay  was brutally murdered and he is promptly arrested as the prime suspect by the sharif Diaz later cops find Drugs in his Office and starts investigation deeply. Later further investigation of Clara  and James  they found that even George  was also brutally murdered leaving evidence of Alex . Then Alex  understands that Maruthi Rao’s information is a trap to set him in the murder case which is related to the unidentified body found in Roseland.

Alex  gets out on bail due to CCTV footage evidence that he was in Nellore sub-Jail asking for Marco, but he only has five more days to prove his innocence due to the overwhelming evidence against him. While Alex and Clara investigate for clues at George’s house, someone tries to kill Alex. later he explains his theory to Sharif Diaz who is observing his investigation from the beginning, and it’s discovered that Anthony and George  wanted the details of Alex after he saw him being arrested in Roseland. Meanwhile, a father registers a complaint about his missing daughter, and the missing daughter is Olivia  who turns out to be dead. A frustrated Alex shows his anguish on Officer Harold  by addressing his carelessness, where Harold decided to cancel Alex’s bail to present him in the court soon.

Later, Alex  catches a man Hasaly  who has been following Alex  around, however, Hasaly reveals himself as an Agent Hasaly  like him who runs OBI in Mexico city with false information that Alex is the real murderer. Alex figures out that there is a huge conspiracy, and sees that various bodies have been dumped next to the railway tracks in the city. Then Alex understands a loophole that Regarding of Railway rules within 72 hours no one claims the dead body; the dead bodies are buried by the Railway Authorities. He deduces that the bodies are loaded in a goods train. Using this information, Alex sees that the bodies are loaded into the goods train .

With the help of sharif diaz,hasaly,and clara, he goes to roseland after faking his death to mislead the people following him. In Roseland, he catches Willian who reveals the whole plot: someone has been taking dead bodies from poor families on the pretext that they are taking them to bury  the dead, for money, and then dump them next to railroads. He also finds out that Lilly’s corpse has been dumped like this too. After an emotional breakdown, Alex  finds out that the fingerprints of the dead man in Roseland have the same fingerprints of a murderer in Queens , and deduces that they are stealing the fingerprints of dead bodies as well to use them in crimes.

Meanwhile, Clara and Diaz find that Anthony, George, and Olivia collaborated on a college project about  and collecting dead bodies. Looking at the photos, Alex realizes that the dead body of Olivia  had a tattoo from childhood, while Olivia in a picture does not. Then Alex reveals that Olivia and her dad are running the whole operation. Being criminology graduates Anthony, and George are investigating unidentified dead bodies. They started their investigation from Monterrey and reached Mexico they found the Talisman in the dead body and at the same time Alex came across the body to investigate and got arrested, where Anthony and George wanted to approach Alex for taking his service, but it was too late.

Olivia  wanted to kill Anthony  and George and set up Alex  in a narcotics case so that nobody could trace the dead body to her, but their plan failed when Alex proved himself innocent in court by showing the CCTV footage in prison and received bail. Olivia comes up with a new plan by killing Alexander and sets up Hasaly and to divert the cops. Her father lodges a false complaint and later declares to believe she was missing and found dead like the unidentified bodies.over to the mexico police. Alex bids his goodbye to Hasaly and he along with Clara, visits his mothers grave to pay their respects to Lilly. Finally, Alexander continues his petty cases and logs heads with local police again which hints towards a sequel
